UAE Armed Forces Awards Amana Bulk Fuel Storage Facilities Project

The General Headquarters of the UAE Armed Forces has awarded Amana Pipeline Construction with the contract to construct bulk fuel storage facilities at its base in Dubai and Al Ain.

The project involves the construction four JP8 military specification aviation fuel storage tanks and related systems in Dubai. In Al Ain, the project involves six Jet A1 Aviation Fuel Storage Tanks and related systems, and two JP8 military aviation fuel storage tanks.

Work on the project is expected to start in January 2010.
