Amana to Provide Fuel Hydrant System to Muscat International

Consolidated Contractors – TAV JV has awarded Amana Pipeline Construction with the contract to provide a new aviation fuel hydrant system as part of Muscat International Airport’s expansion.

The project involves the supply, installation and commissioning of a Jet A1 Fuel Hydrant System in accordance with Air BP specifications. In total, 84 hydrant-refueling points will be installed, in addition to shutdowns, hot tapping, and tie-ins to the existing fuel hydrant system.

Work on the project is expected to start in September 2010.
